This Schatz standard 400 day anniversary clock is dated November 1952 on the movement. The Bach organ piece Sonata No. 4 in E. Minor, BWV 528, Movement 2 (Andante); is playing in the background.

    Thanks – I’m glad you enjoyed seeing it! In all the years I’ve been repairing 400 day clocks, this is the only maroon one I’ve seen. I have the dome, but left it off for the video to avoid glare from the floodlights. Schatz 400 day clocks are one of my favorite types of clocks

    Wow! this is cool. My grandfather had this exact same model maroon SCHATZ 400 day clock. Same exact color and everything I first saw it as a little boy in Plattsburg NY (around 1958). The last time I saw it was in Saratoga Springs, NY (about 1969) I bet he DID get it in the early 50′s. I was born in 1955. I have never seen another clock exactly like this one till just now. It’s a real beauty. Do you have the dome? Thanks for a terrific memory!! Gorgeous clock!!
