A time-lapse video of a clock on the mantlepiece in my living room. I took photographs of the subject with my Nikon D60 every 30 seconds, cropped the photos in Photoshop then animated them into a video using Quicktime at 15fps.
The flickering of the background during the video is caused by a) the TV screen to the right (off screen) and b) I left the white-balance on the camera on Auto by mistake (I should have set it to manual).

I have an antique carriage clock with an inscription that says Breguet 1818 on it. Is that the name of the clock maker? If so who is he? If he’s famous maybe my clock will be worth more
I made an article about this clock maker recently, here’s a snipit:
"It is believe that the first French made carriage clock was built by one of the most respected and inspired watchmakers of his time, Abraham-Louis Breguet(1747-1823). It was no secret at the time that there was a demand in the market place for a traveling clock that could withstand the rigors of travel. Abraham-Louis Breguet was not the first to come up with this idea, but he could be considered one of the most creative and one of the best at implementing these ideas into real working masterpieces."
So hold onto that clock it’s probably worth a small fortune!
